Two Wheel Action

2023 – 2024 Arenacross British Championship
Outside of the Arena action, we will have everything for the fuel junkies out there, from Electric Off-road bike experiences for all ages and Pro Rider Talks on the Main Stage, to an adrenaline-fuelled Action Sports zone with BMX, Mountain bikes, Trials, Scooter, Flatland & Freestyle Motocross Displays.
Arenacross was born from the super-fast and highly dangerous sport of motocross (dirt bike racing to those who don’t know their fairings from fork!)

But what’s the difference between the two? Not a huge amount, just a much smaller track (30 second lap times) with huge jumps, tight turns seemingly impossible moguls! Think of a BMX track turned up to 11, with races featuring up to 15 riders over multiple laps and you have the perfect concoction for carnage!

Headlined by two of the greatest motocross riders in the world, current Arenacross British Champion Tommy Searle and runner up, Conrad Mewse, you’ll get to see close up action with multiple races and risk taking like no other sport on Earth!

With race action taking place in Bolesworth’s International Arena all day and evening, you’ll get to witness the best Pro’s, Amateurs and Youth competitors from as young as 6yrs!
Let’s take the already dangerous sport of motocross and make it… well, that much more dangerous. Introducing the seemingly impossible sport of freestyle motocross where riders take off, let go, back flip, turn backwards or upside down all up to 80ft in the air; you’ll struggle to find a more hair-raising show leaving you on the edge of your seat.

Shows will take place throughout the day, in both the Action Sports Zone and the Main Arena during the Arenacross events
What’s Super Enduro? Mix Arenacross (for track length and jumps) and Moto Trials for technical skill, throw in a lot of rocks, telegraph poles, cable reels, concrete pipes and 20 highly skilled riders… welcome to Super Enduro!

For those of you with plenty of two-wheeled knowledge, if you think Enduro racing is tough, just wait until you see Super Enduro. Headlined by current and former Super Enduro World Champions, Billy Bolt and Jonny Walker, you won’t get a better chance to witness the greatest riders on the planet in action.

Racing takes place in the International Arena on the same track as the Arenacross riders… but just a few crazy lanes of madness down each side!
Skills, skills and more skills. For those old enough to remember the 80’s phenomenon of Kick Start on BBC1, the sport hasn’t changed much other than adding ‘Moto’ before its title (just to remind you that it’s a Motorcycle)!

Featuring our star performer and former triple world championship-winning medallist, Steve Colley, who’s sure to blow your mind with some of the most stunning skills on two wheels.

The show will take place throughout the day at the Trials Arena, located by the shopping village.
AX Fest is throwing down two kinds of BMX action across all three days of the Festival… the crazy Dirt Jump contest with some of the best BMX riders in the UK, double backflipping and forward flipping their way to AX Fest Gold, plus Lee Musselwhite performing the insanely difficult Flatland BMX.
