CSI 3* International Showjumping Longines Ranking Classes

International showjumping remains at the heart of the Bolesworth International, with the top showjumping riders from across the UK and abroad, competing for the multiple world ranking classes. The Grand Prix classes will take place on the afternoon of Sunday 9 and 16 of June

In this Olympic year, we are delighted to welcome four of the six British long-listed athletes and a number of the long-listed athletes from the UAE to our Festival, allowing you to see the riders in action ahead of Paris!

Elite Foal & Yearling Auction Presented by Gallagher

7 June (Evening) This year’s Elite Auction will feature Foals and Yearlings hand-selected by our panel by the World’s best sires out of black-type performance dams. Previous auction references are now competing round the world in age classes and up to 1.45m level. To book your place at the auction contact Melanie Simm.

JCL Eventing Grand Prix

13 June (approx 5.30pm) Watch the country’s best Event Riders including last year’s runner up Gemma Stevens tackle Eric Winters challenge that will combine show jumps and cross country fences, against the clock!

Ride & Drive

8 & 15 June (Evening) Drivers will be paired with international showjumpers to go head-to-head in a pairs relay combining showjumping and driving for the ultimate mix of horsepower! Our Partners for the Ride & Drive are Genesis by Holdcroft Motors (week 1) and Lexus by Mitchell Group (week 2)

LeMieux Puissance

14 June (Evening) Bring on the wall! Experience up to five rounds of nail-biting jumping… how high can the winner go in 2024? Defending champion Guy Williams
returns with his Puissance specialist horse, Mr Blue Sky, to defend their crown!

AC Jackson Mini Major

16 June (Afternoon) Riders 12 years and under will be paired with top competitors to compete in a showjumping relay competition; every year comes with a different fancy dress theme… what will it be in 2024?!

Hobby Horse Showjumping

Saturday 8 June 2024 | Enter the British Hobby Horse Competition! Our friends at British Hobby Horse Competition Club will have both classes and clear rounds for you to participate in… and you’re more than welcome to bring your own Hobby Horse, or loan one of ours, which have been kindly gifted by LeMieux! Winners of the classes will receive rosettes (1-6 place) PLUS goodies from LeMieux and Clear Round winners will be presented with a rosette too and qualification into the British Hobby Horse of the Year Show in November 🤩 You can enter either online and on the day – but to avoid disappoint, we advise booking in advance – this is a very popular event!

Pony Club Fancy Dress Class

Sunday 16 June 2024 | The Pony Club Fancy Dress Class returns to Bolesworth International for 2024. A firm favourite with younger children, this age 10 and under experience gives rider and pony an exciting venture out in the Bolesworth Arenas! Taking place on Sunday 16 June, the entry fee includes entry into the Bolesworth International Equestrian Summer Festival for one adult, one child (aged 14 years and under), one car parking space, plus entry to the competition for one child. £10 per entry is donated to charity.

J F Polo Academy

Come and learn what it takes to make it as a top Polo player with one of the UK’s leading polo adamdemies on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 June.

Strides Equestrian Barrel Racing Display Team

Barrel racing is an event in which a horse and rider attempt to complete a cloverleaf pattern around three barrels placed in a triangle in the centre of an arena, in the fastest time. The Strides Equestrian Barrel Racing Display Team will be with us on Saturday 8 June, showcasing their skills!

Pony Rides

Your little ones can enjoy a pony ride with Pampered Ponies across both weekends – on the 8 and 9 of June and 15 and 16 June.

Emma's Donkeys

Come and meet Dotty and Eddie the donkeys from Emma’s donkeys Llanidloes on their static donkey stand. Emma is the 5th generation of her family to keep donkeys and run the family business that’s been established over 100 years. Our donkey session includes everyone can meet and groom the donkeys, make a donkey craft mask, guess what’s in our sensory boxes and learn some fun donkey facts.

Meg Elphick (Elphick Event Ponies)

We’re so excited to have the wonderful Meg Elphick return to join us during the Eventing Grand Prix on Thursday 13 June! The incredibly successful grassroots Eventer and vlogger extraordinaire will be treating fans to a free meet and greet opportunity on the same afternoon! (included within general admission tickets; keep an eye on social media for timings)

Esme Higgs (This Esme)

Social media sensation Esme Higgs (This Esme) will be meeting and greeting fans on Saturday 8 (10am-12pm, 3pm-5pm) and Sunday 9 (9.30am-11.30am, 1.30pm-3.30pm) June. Esme will also feature in our Ladies Day VIP session (8 June), talking about her life, experiences and taking part in a Q&A. She’ll also be taking part in our Celebrity Ride & Drive that evening.

Ben Atkinson

Equestrian performer, professional stunt rider, horse trainer and Liberty Artist Ben Atkinson brings his action horses to perform at the Bolesworth International on 15 & 16 June! You need to see it to believe it!
