Guy Butler

Guy graduated from Reading University where he read Land Management, and further read European Property Investment at City, University of London. He joined the Grosvenor Estate, where he delivered a number of large and complex urban regeneration projects, the largest being Liverpool ONE.
In 2014, he joined forces with Ian Sherry to form Glenbrook Properties. The business is formed of both property investment and development arms. The investment arm has a number of properties from Newport to Scunthorpe and has investments in all land uses, from retail parks to farmland. The development business focuses on residential and industrial and is active from Milton Keynes to Leeds. It is currently building 1,135 new homes with another 618 starting in 2024 and has a 40 acre industrial development in Wigan.

Nick Evans

Nick has spent his career in the farming industry, in UK based financial services and latterly in international agricultural IT. Nick is the Managing Director and Founder of Oxbury Bank. Oxbury launched as a fully regulated bank in February 2021 and is the only UK bank dedicated to British agriculture, focusing on food and farming where 90% of its shareholders are stakeholders in the industry.
 
“The UK needs a specialist bank that has dedicated, knowledgeable relationship managers, that understands farmers and their unique requirements for funding and that does things with a sense of urgency. Our British farming sector is so important, both economically and for the security of the country. We want to see farmers thrive, feel supported and for our customers to do the best job that they can”.

VICTORIA PRICE is a managing director with Alvarez & Marsal Tax LLC and leads the UK’s private capital team. She brings over 20 years of experience working with high-net-worth individuals and privately owned companies, supporting them on a broad range of personal and corporate tax matters.

Victoria is known for her passion for working with entrepreneurs and supporting them on their transformational growth journeys. Over the past two decades she has worked with hundreds of home grown businesses as they have scaled in the UK and beyond

Louise Minchin

LOUISE MINCHIN is a successful, journalist, author and podcaster. She presented the UK’s most watched Breakfast programme BBC Breakfast on BBC One for 20 years. Louise is passionate about endurance sport and celebrating women’s sporting success. Louise is the host of top-rated podcast, Push Your Peak, where she interviews superhumans who have done extraordinary things, learning what it takes – mentally and physically – to go again (and again). For her second book – Fearless, Adventures with Extraordinary Women – she took on difficult challenges with different courageous women. She’ll share some of these experiences, from free diving under ice in the dark in Finland, swimming from Alcatraz and wild caving as well as some of the truly inspiring stories she’s heard whilst recording her podcast.

Manju Malhotra

MANJU MALHOTRA is a highly experienced and influential businesswoman who started her journey at Harvey Nichols as a newly qualified accountant in 1998. Over the years, she climbed the ranks, eventually becoming chief executive of this British luxury retailer. Her tenure was marked by resilience and adaptability, successfully guiding this national treasure through the pandemic that was declared just weeks after she assumed leadership. Her legacy remains one of galvanizing Harvey Nichols as a luxury destination delivering exception in-store and digital customer experience. Manju has since taken on a number of non-executive director posts – at the flexible office provider Workspace, where she is chair on the ESG committee and the fund manager Abrdn’s smaller companies growth trust, at which she is the Audit char. Manju was recently shortlisted as “NED to watch” in the Sunday Times non-executive Director awards. She is an alumna of the Asian Women of Achievement, and was featured in the Retail Week 100 and Draper’s Power 100 lists as well as being an ambassador and mentor to organisations that support and mentor the next generation of business leaders.

Thomas Kelly

THOMAS KELLY is the CEO of restaurant chain, Honest Burgers. Thomas was appointed to lead the business into a new phase of growth. He began his career at McDonald’s as a graduate trainee and worked his way up within the fast-food chain to become a member of the executive board as Vice President in the UK and then CEO in Finland and Sweden, where he delivered seven consecutive quarters of sales growth and 40% EBITDA growth in three years. As a result of transforming a 30-year loss making business to deliver 450% EBITDA growth in three years Thomas was awarded ‘Europe’s Best Turnaround’ for his work. After McDonald’s, he was the Global Executive Director at Costa Coffee, leading the Design, Retail Propositions, Customer Experience through to Franchising and International Growth. More recently he has worked within the Private Equity sector as an Executive advisor with Terra Firma Capital Partners.

Sarah Dunning

SARAH DUNNING started her career at investment bank Rothschild before becoming a headhunter in the City. She is now Chair of Westmorland, a business started by her parents and which she and her sister Jane now run. Westmorland is best known for its motorway services areas which champion locally produced food, including from their own farm. The businesses include Tebay Services in Cumbria, Gloucester Services in Gloucestershire and Cairn Lodge in Scotland. Sarah has been awarded the OBE for services to the food, drink and hospitality sector and was a winner of Business in the Community’s Rural Action Award. Champion of the business’ values, Sarah continues to develop the business and is hoping to develop a new motorway service area on the M56 near Manchester Airport.

Gaurav Batra

GAURAV BATRA’S early career spanned stints in strategy consulting, corporate finance and venture capital. In 2004 he joined the Virgin Group as Corporate Development and Strategy Director, developing new growth platforms such as financial services, as well as playing a leading role in the commercial development of the Virgin brand. He then joined the Bibby Line Group as an Executive Director and Chair of several portfolio businesses, including Bibby Financial Services and Garic. More recently Gaurav has been operating across a portfolio of roles as an advisor, board member, and investor. He is Chairman of the Bolesworth Estate, as well as Think Energy Group, a private-equity backed market leader in providing off-grid renewable energy to the construction and infrastructure sectors. Previously, he was also Chair of Life Leisure, a not-for-profit charitable organisation operating fitness centres as well as non-executive director of Manchester University Hospitals Foundation Trust.
