Mini Jumping Competition

Introducing Mini Jumping, an exciting new addition to the Al Shira’aa Bolesworth International 2026. Created especially for young riders aged 12 and under, these fun and friendly children’s showjumping classes offer a unique chance to compete in front of the iconic Bolesworth Castle.

Designed to build confidence and create unforgettable memories, Mini Jumping is the perfect way for budding riders to enjoy the magic of a world‑class equestrian event.

Class Heights

With options for lead‑rein and independent riders, Mini Jumping offers something for every young competitor:
  • 30cm – lead rein optional  
  • 40cm – lead rein optional 
  • 50cm – no lead rein 
  • 60cm – no lead rein 
  • 70cm – no lead rein 

Eligibility: Riders 12 years and under (as of 1st January 2026)

Ponies: 148cm and under 

All entries must be made in advance via the Equipe app.

Competition Format

Perfect for first competitions and young riders building confidence in the ring:

  • One round against the clock
  • Prizes in kind
  • Rosettes to 6th place
  • Every rider receives a rosette

Fancy Dress Fun Class

The Fancy Dress Fun Class brings colour, creativity and plenty of fun to the Mini Jumping competition on Saturday 4th July. This is your chance to think outside the box, dress to impress and most importantly, have fun.

Top 6 competitors will go forward to parade in the Main Arena.

Prizes in kind will be awarded.

What's Included

Entry includes event tickets for one rider and two parents, giving you the freedom to bring your full support team to experience everything Bolesworth International has to offer.   • Additional Adults: £24 per person / weekend

Bolesworth International x Tushingham Points Series

Points earned during the Tushingham Equestrian Unaffiliated Jumping Series will carry forward to Bolesworth International. Riders will have the opportunity to earn double points in each class, leading to the crowning of a Championship Winner at each height on Sunday 5th July.

Points are awarded per class for eligible riders aged 12 and under as follows:
1st – 6 points | 2nd – 5 points | 3rd – 4 points | 4th – 3 points | 5th – 2 points | 6th – 1 point
