Bolesworth Concours – The Art of Horsepower presents a curated showcase of rare, historic and contemporary automotive artistry. Judged to the highest concours standards, the event brings together exceptional vehicles, VIP hospitality, expert commentary and a refined atmosphere, attracting collectors, enthusiasts and leading luxury brands.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Bolesworth Castle, the inaugural Bolesworth Concours 2026 celebrates the world’s most distinguished automobiles — where design, performance and provenance take centre stage, defining the true Art of Horsepower.

From pre-war coachbuilt masterpieces to the most accomplished modern supercars, the Concours brings together rarity, craftsmanship and design excellence across two unforgettable days. Join fellow collectors, families and admirers as we honour the very finest chapters of automotive history. Each vehicle is carefully selected for its significance, originality, craftsmanship or compelling story – creating a truly remarkable line-up.

To ensure credibility and international standing, the concours will be judged by a carefully curated panel combining expertise from automotive, design and sporting worlds.

This multidisciplinary judging approach reflects the spirit of The Art of Horsepower, ensuring the winning cars are recognised not only for historical authenticity but also for their design significance, engineering excellence and sporting heritage.

We invite you to begin the weekend in style on Friday, as owners take over the Drivers’ Lawn to present their cars in a celebration of The Art of Horsepower.

Entrants will then be invited to an exclusive cocktail party on Friday evening held at Bolesworth Castle, the private residence of Nina Barbour. This invitation-only evening offers a rare opportunity to step inside the Castle and join Nina and the Bolesworth team, alongside fellow entrants, judges and a carefully curated guest list. Set within one of the Estate’s most iconic settings, it is an elegant and relaxed celebration at the heart of the Al Shira’aa Bolesworth International.

Judging will commence on Saturday morning, with renowned experts assessing each vehicle to the highest standards, celebrating the craftsmanship, provenance and individuality that make every car exceptional.

While the judging is conducted in a static format, entrants are encouraged to meet the judges beside their car – an opportunity to share the story behind it, highlight its condition or past restorations, and answer any questions. Both authenticity and use are valued, with preservation and historical significance contributing to each score.

On Saturday evening entrants and guests have the option to  join us in our VIP Hospitality Pavilion for the famous and breathtaking Puissance challenge — one of the most thrilling spectacles in showjumping. This dramatic competition sees riders and horses take on a single, towering wall that is raised round by round, testing bravery, power and precision as only the boldest combinations remain

On Sunday, the winner of each concours class will progress to the final presentation: This signature moment celebrates the relationship between two forms of horsepower – mechanical and equine.

Each category-winning automobile will be paired with a beautiful horse representing a major equestrian discipline, curated by Bolesworth. The five pairings will be presented in the International Arena in a carefully choreographed finale.

From the five finalists in the Power & Grace presentation, the judges will select the overall Best in Show. The winning pairing will receive The Art of Horsepower Trophy, becoming the defining image of the Bolesworth Concours. Also, a selection of Honorary Awards will complement the Class and Runners-Up recognitions. We are delighted to welcome our host, Nina Barbour, who will present the Best of Show awards, bringing the inaugural Art of Horsepower Concours to a distinguished close.
