CSI 3* International Showjumping World Ranking Classes

International showjumping remains at the heart of the Bolesworth International, with the top showjumping riders from across the UK and abroad competing for the multiple world ranking classes. 2022 saw Louise Saywell and Kingsborough Kasper take the top spot in the highly competitive Grand Prix, with the course for 2023 set to be tougher than ever with riders looking to gain their eligibility qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympics and European Championships.

Riding for the Disabled Association Mechanical Horse

The Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) are Bolesworth's Equestrian Charity for the year and will be on-hand to promote their inspirational work, as well as challenge visitors to have a go at riding Charley the Mechanical Horse in a safe environment!

Ben Atkinson Stunt Horses

Equestrian performer, professional stunt rider, horse trainer and Liberty Artist Ben Atkinson brings his action horses to perform at the Bolesworth International on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You need to see it to believe it!

Wednesday 14 June

JCL Insurance Brokers Eventing Grand Prix

3.30pm: The Andrew Hefferman-built course in the International Arena combines show jumps and cross-country jumps and will be tackled by some of the leading eventing and showjumping riders for a £5000 1st place prize. To add to the excitement of the competition the riders will be drawn into teams of four to compete for team glory as well as individual success.

HorseHage Eventing Masterclass

6pm: Eventing inspiration Nicola Wilson delivers an eventing masterclass to showcase the sport. Nicola will be accompanied by the ever-entertaining showjumper Geoff Billington to provide an exciting and educational masterclass for the audience. Featuring Gemma Stevens and Finn Healy, presented by Horsehage.

Trooping the Colour Charity Park Ride

9am - 1pm: Lend your support to an amazing cause and add a splash of colour to the Cheshire countryside at the Trooping the Colour Park Ride. The ride is open to the entire equestrian community, with riders of all ages and ability levels welcome.

A-List Auction Presented by Gallagher

Thursday Evening: The A List Auction returns showcasing both selected Elite Ridden Horses and Yearlings. Friday 16 June

Celebrity Ride & Drive Presented by Lexus Chester

Friday Evening: Enjoy the return of Celebrity Ride & Drive, with Michael Owen and Sir AP McCoy already confirmed to take part. Celebrity drivers will be paired with international showjumpers to go head-to-head in a pairs relay combining showjumping and driving for the ultimate mix of horsepower.

Puissance Presented by eVet Drug

7pm: The famous big red wall features in the International Arena on Saturday evening, with up to five rounds of jumping. Last year saw Mark Edwards and Montreuxs Tale clear a height of 2.14m... we're excited to see how high the winner will go in 2023!

Sunday 18 June

Northcote Mini Major

1.30pm: Riders 12 years and under will be paired with top competitors to compete in a showjumping relay competition; every year comes with a different fancy dress theme... what will it be in 2023?!

Fancy dress Competition

Children aged 10 years and under are invited to dress up and parade around the display arena on Sunday, with the top 10 invited into the International Arena to award the winners their prizes!
