Summer Maize Maze Near Chester
Get lost in our amazing maize maze and sunflower picking patch this summer holiday in the heart of Cheshire at Bolesworth.
Taking place from 20 August to 4 September 2022 near Chester, it’s your chance to pick your own sunflowers, pose for a photo in the wildflowers, and weave your way through our bee trail (look out for all our busy bees working hard!). There are crafts to make, ice creams to eat, food to enjoy and plenty of things to do!
Aladdin and the Genie also take centre stage, with all sorts of wonderful adventures to be had!
Tickets include free parking and access to the Aladdin Maze. Kids crafts, onsite food and drink and pick your own sunflowers can be bought on site (Single stem £1.00 or six stems for £5.00). The site opens at 9.30am, with last entry to the site at 3.30pm.

Wild Flowers
Our wildflowers our fragrant, bright and colourful. They have been specially chosen for their bee and butterfly appeal! Look out for our bees, they are busy making honey for us!
Picnic Area
In addition to sunflowers, we have our new bee trail and picnic area, a picturesque spot to relax and have your lunch or a tasty treat.
PYO Sunflowers
We have 9 varieties of sunflowers to pick, take home and once you have enjoyed looking at them we have plenty of ideas on our At Home page on what to do with them! We also have a wrapping station on site to make beautiful bouquets for your friends and family (or yourself!).
Single stem £1 or 6 stems for £5.00
Photo Op
With so many places to snap a picture, we know your insta feed is going to be looking top tier. Make sure to tag us – we love to see your wonderful pictures and even share them to our socials!
Trails
Take a walk through the sunflowers and find your favourites. Secateurs will be required for picking and gloves should be handy too! You may wish to bring a big bag to carry home your bouquets.
Opening Dates and Times
The Sunflower Picking Patch and Aladdin Maze at Bolesworth near Chester will be open from 20 August to 4 September 2022.
Entry slots to the maze will be from 9.30am to 11.30am, 11.30am to 13.30pm and 13.30pm to 15.30pm.
Please come before your slot or stay after to pick your own sunflowers, do crafts or enjoy some refreshments.
