Halloween Maize Maze and Free Pick Your Own Pumpkins
Enjoy frightfully fun Halloween adventures at Bolesworth’s spooky Halloween Maize Maze and Free Pumpkin Picking Patch on selected dates between October 8 and October 30 2022.
Our pumpkin patch is free to enter and will be home to acres of pumpkins of all shapes, sizes and colours; you just pay for the ones you pick, so come along and find your perfect one for carving or eating!
You can also pay to take on the challenge of our spooky Halloween Maze, as well as enjoy scarily good crafts and activities, trails, places to take photos and make plenty of memories. Book your slot for the maze, arrive at your chosen time but feel free to stay after your experience to pick your own pumpkins.
Pumpkin Picking is free and open from 9.30am to 4pm on selected days (check website for availability). Don’t forget it’s also free to park with a picnic area and food and drink facilities on-site! Find us eight miles south of Chester off the A41 at postcode CH3 9JJ.

After you’ve picking your pumpkins and got lost in the maize maze, there’s plenty of crafts to get stuck into, from wish catchers to bubble wands and much more!

For budding pumpkinologists there’s an investigation station, where you can discover everything you need to know about pumpkins.

What to Bring
It’s Autumn, so please bring all-weather clothes, wellies, umbrellas and hats… make sure to wrap up warm as it might be wet and muddy! We recommend you bring a box to carry home your picked pumpkins.
Facilities
Lots of space to run around, stroll and play, as well as food, drinks and snacks onsite. Toilet facilities are also available.
We love dogs at Bolesworth and they’re always welcome here, but please note whilst you’re welcome to bring your canine companion along for the day, we can’t allow dogs to enter the maze or the pumpkin picking patch.
