As we build towards the 200th anniversary of the Castle being built, Bolesworth Estate is going through an unprecedented period of growth and development.

Bolesworth Events launched in 2008, and has a heritage of delivering our own world class equestrian events to over 40,000 annual attendees, together with a total of over 5,000 hospitality guests. We have been the home of Carfest North since 2016, and are working with renowned promoters to deliver further large-scale events over the next three years in the stunning castle grounds.
The Estate is home to over 150 commercial businesses, ranging from tenants occupying office space at our Chowley Business Park, to larger-scale leisure enterprises like the Ice Cream Farm, that attracts over 750,000 visitors annually. We also house over 150 residential tenants.
In 2021 the company produced, managed and delivered ‘Christmas at Bolesworth’ for over 40,000 attendees and our strategic plan in is to develop our events portfolio and joint ventures further for 2022 and beyond that will see our annual attendances increase to over 250,000 in 2023.
Attendees at Bolesworth Events are typically from a significantly higher economic demographic than the average UK population (46 % ‘Affluent Achievers’ vs 20% UK average). They live in wealthy, high status rural / semi-rural areas of the country. Many own their own businesses, and their household income is well above average.
